Driver's Side Door Tension
Okay, this probably sounds a little crazy; however, when I first took delivery of my 4G two weeks ago, I was very impressed with the tension of the driver's side door. It seemed to have 4 to 5 different opening angles that had enough tension to just not "blow" open. This was one of the many improvements that I found in the 4G over my previous 3G--which seemed to have two opening angles and felt loose while opening.
I had my 4G at the dealer's the past two days because I had some bubbles on the clear bra that had not quite "worked" themselves out. When I picked it up today, I immediately noticed that the "tension" was gone from the driver's side door.
From inside, it just felt "loose", much like my '06 TL and seemed to be missing the 4-5 opening angles. The door is now just swinging wide open as soon as I exit. I tried the passenger door, and the tension is still there--comparable to what I had experience previously on the driver's side.
So, my questions are, perhaps the door just seemed taught because of previous light because of light-use? Or, did something get bumped or "tweaked" while at the dealers? Is there a way to adjust the tension? Maybe silly questions; but, has anyone else experienced this? Thanks!

After my experiences these days, who knows what the dealer does. If it's different than when you last had it, most likely they f'd it up. Call them immediately and arrange for it to be taken care of. I almost forgot about this one. I hated the 3G door, as it never stayed open for the distance that I needed it to! The 4G is much improved with it's subtle closing too! The 3G would usually slam down on my leg unknowingly.
