I picked up my TL recently and am enjoying it very much! The only problem is that only days after my ownership, it has developed a very irritating, high-pitched rattle around the top of the window on the driver's side. I don't know what it is, but it comes on intermittently and during both local and freeway driving.

When I checked the rubber seal of the window frame, I noticed that at the end of the top part, it does not seem to seal completely. I don't know if it's the reason why it's making a noise there?

Does anyone else have a similar issue too?

 

I actually noticed some windnoise when driving above 65 MPH from this window seal. I went and bought some clear silicone all purpose caulking for $4, and filled the seal with it. Problem solved.

 

Yeah there's actually a thread in "problems and fixes" about this. It seems kind of common...for example I sometimes notice a rattling sound too.
