Long story short, my buddy yanked up on the black plastic battery terminal cover and snapped off both mounting tabs. Any idea on where I can buy just the terminal cover and not the entire front engine cover?

Unless I'm mistaken (and I don't think that I am), I believe he's referring to the small rectangular portion of the engine "shroud" which gives access to the battery.

Mine is also broken, and I've wondered the same question, but have been too lazy to ask or call the dealer.

You are correct. All I can seem to find is the entire front shroud piece.

Most people just take all those pieces off for heat dissapation purposes..


Look in the black market or put up a WTB thread.

You need to replace the whole piece. I ordered one too. That hole from the battery section was driving me nuts.
