Back after two weeks at the dealer
I just got my 2010TL SHAWD 6 speed back from the dealership yesterday. They had my car for twofull weeks while giving me a '12 TSX to drive around town.
I had issues withan intermittent grind when going into third gear and reverse as well as thefront seat was wobbling and the rear passenger floor mat had pulled out of thecarpet taking the piece that holds it down with it.
I had complainedabout the grind issue twice before, but they were never able to reproduce itand this time they could. They ended up replacing the Syncros in the transmission(something I told them I read about on acurazine), replaced the driver’s seattracks and all four floor mats.
I left just payingfor my oil change and rotation. I know I over pay the dealership for themaintenance, but they usually go to bat for me when there is a problem.
When my rack andpinion went on my old '05 TL MT at 104,000 miles, they got corporate to cover$900 of the $1200 repair.
