Anyone with 2014 models having any issues or problems?
Anyone with 2014 models having any issues or problems?
None on mine so far but only has 400 miles. I do notice that center tunnel on passenger side gets extremely cold when AC on but I'm assuming it's because the vent tunnel for rear vents go that route. Anyone else notice the same thing?
Haven't noticed that yet. Had my first warranty repair done on my 2014. Bought back in November and has 4000 miles. Driver side window trim pillar paint was wrinkled up and started to chip. Had it replaced two days ago.
Favor for folks that have 2012 and up models. Can you turn on AC and after 5 mins, put your hand on passenger side center tunnel between passenger seat and feel if super cold or not. Thanks!
I should know better....lol
This post is of interest to me also.
When I am daydreaming I have this idea that I'm going to upgrade one day from my 2010 TL to a '14. I'm pretty sure I don't want a TLX and I usually buy used, so I may be in the market for a '14 in a couple years. So the question is:
Is there some consensus on this?
I'm probably still going to get a fwd car, not an awd model.
I know the 6AT is probably better than the 5AT which I have now.
After making the same basic car for 6 years did they get it sorted out?
Are the guys with the '14s all happy campers?

In addition, I have the 6AT, out of the garage in the morning, it sort of stumbles on initial acceleration from my driveway to the stop sign at the end of my street (1/8 mi), assuming it is due to the engine being cold. Anyone else?
I'm at 5100 miles and no problems so far. Just wish the seats were a little more comfortable after an hour; I'm thinking these air conditioned seats have less padding than non-air conditioned ones. Anyone else notice that?

Voice recognition system buttons and Bluetooth handsfreelink buttons issue
On my drive to work this morning, I found that the voice recognition system buttons and Bluetooth handsfreelink buttons on the steering wheel did not work.
After arriving to work and turning the car off and back on, the buttons were working properly again.
The buttons continued to work properly on the drive home.
At home, I went into the Self-Diagnosis Mode (press and hold the DEST/ROUTE, the MAP/GUIDE, and the CANCEL buttons for 3 seconds) and checked the status of
the Error History icon on the System Link screen. It was yellow.
When the audio-navigation unit has hard error codes, the Error History icon appears yellow when the Self-Diagnosis Mode (System Link) screen is displayed. When no hard error codes are stored, the icon appears gray.
To view the errors with their navigation DTC, select the Error History icon.
Then select Hard Error in the Error History main menu.
The Hard Error screen displays the following information for each error:
The navigation DTC for the error.
A brief description of the navigation DTC.
The date and time when the error occurred.
Here is the error I found:
1. [2707] [Mic Diag]
[2010 01/01 - 01:29:21]
This navigation DTC sets when a problem is detected in the microphone circuit.
This error is 4 years old (based on the 2010 01/01 date), so I am not sure if it was there from when they manufactured and/or tested the unit. It may not be related to my issue.
I took a picture of the screen and saved the error history to a USB flash drive for future reference, should I need to provide the information to the dealer or Acura Client Services.
I'll continue to monitor this issue. It may just be a software bug.
