Hey everyone,

Tried my air conditioning for the first time this year, from what I can tell the compressor is not turning on or engaging

Is there any way to check the relay without replacing it? Or should I just go ahead and replace it and see if it works

 

Recommendation 1:
I don't have my car to review before my comment but this worked on my Dad's Odyssey last weekend.
I swapped two relays in the fuse/relay box that had the same part number stenciled on them.

The problem followed the relay (compressor worked now and AC radiator fan didn't) which proved the relay was bad.
I found part on Amazon and replaced all 3 relays in box with the part number. (compressor and 2 radiator fans)

Recommendation 2:
Tap on the relay in question. Sometimes a mechanical "jolt" will un-stick the relay mechanism and cause it to start working again.
If this works you know the relay is bad.
