Up the pictures to a photo hosting website such as photobucket. Once there, copy the direct link, click on the icon that looks like a moon and mountain peaks. Paste link there.

Sweet fancy moses! How did you hit the pole? Glad you're alright, but I'd be surprised it that is not a write-off. I said WOW.

OUCH. glad you're ok. just goes to show, Acura builds safe cars. how fast were you going?

that's some pretty extensive damage (front end, suspension, windshield, side skirts, airbags...i'd be shocked if the frame wasn't bent). i dont' know if i would want the car back after an impact like that. eek.

Wholly Molly alright...Gheez that was a nasty hit! I am glad you are OK but I can't see how this will not be considered a write-off.

Were able to intercept the drunk driver that you were trying to avoid? It always pisses me off when someone try to avoid a drunk person (or an offending driver) and get in an accident are left holding the bag. I know life is more important than a car but still....

^same here.

You might want to seek another vehicle after/if they fix it.

car can still be fixed.. but im pretty sure there will be problems once it is fixed.. gaps, alignment issues, etc.. its just better to let insurance take it and move on to the next car

I'm really glad you're ok.

Sorry, but IMO even if it can be fixed I don't think it will ever be the same.

Depending on your miles, I think it's a total loss. How many miles were on your car? Glad you were okay though.

Glad to hear you're ok. But watch out for any stiffness later on, because whiplash can appear a few weeks after the accident.

This car can be fixed and be driven as used be, not big damage...

I know for sure, if passenger front airbag is deployed then insurance will total it. Just to replace that airbag is about $2K (per insurance labor rates)... I deal with salvage cars from auctions

Need to see the driver side more to be able to tell as that is where all the damage is. But I would say it's totalled. Airbags deployed, and extensive damage to the front end.

imo.. thats frame damage that cannot be "repaired" but only masked

you can hide the damage by putting a hood and fender making it line up.. but it wont ever be as strong as it was before.. unless you completely replace the whole front end frame of the car from fenders up... which no one will ever invest in.

totally not agree, this car can be repaired. Wont' be any difference compare to "clean title" if taken to a good shop and professionally repaired....

Glad you are OK from your accident, that's the best news from this.
Hopefully GEICO is nice to you when they look at it.

i doubt it.. it wont be the same.. for all you know the frame might be already twisted.. once that is done, its game over. cant repair a twisted frame

well... I'm not going to argue with you, since i'm working/buying/fixing/selling salvage cars as my hobby for last 3 years. In order to twist the frame you have to be T-boned or really really rear ended/front ended. His current damage is 100% fixable. Just my 2c

P.S. Nowadays cars like a Lego, any piece can be replaced, unless frame is damaged then car goes for parts. The good thing what I heard from guys who does body work, TL has really strong body structure.

I hate them with a passion. In my previous TL (09'), I was T-boned between the L fender/door, by an inexperienced driver while going 35mph. The driver was slowing down to a stop and then accelerated into me. Both our vehicles then went into a curb that was about 10 inches high. One of my front wheels climbed onto the curb, the other smacked the curb and didn't have the momentum to climb onto of it and stayed on the ground, the rear two stayed on the ground. Driver side curtain and steering wheel airbags deployed. I walked away with no injuries but the car was a mess. I was 100% sure Geico would total it. The greedy shop/adjuster were in cahoots, the assholes (GEICO) said it was merely 7k in damage, and paid out to fix the vehicle, as they repaired the vehicle, more and more damage was discovered. Ultimately 17k was paid out to fix the paper weight; 09 awd/tech, 60k miles in 12/11. That car SHOULD have been totalled. I hope you don't experience the same BS.

Yes... All agents are an assholes but they were told to be like that, company wants to save $$$. I always recommend to get independent estimate even if I have to pay $100+, of course after your insurance do it, not good to "touch" any damage. In this case you save time and let insurance know that it's gonna be hard to fool you

I normally would have gotten an independent estimate but the vehicle was disabled and I had to have it towed to somewhere I knew the work would be done. It was a terrible situation.

Wow! Of coarse it had to be right in the soft spot...if the frame didn't get twisted then they should fix it.
