Wondering how others' engines are holding up. Can you please answer the following?

Engine (3.5 or 3.7):
Trans (Auto or 6MT):
Oil Consumed per 3k miles:
Past or Current Engine Issues:

Thanks all!
year: 2012

Mileage: 205,850

engine: 3.5 and of course auto trans

no engine issues but it is quite noisy, more than likely needs a valve adjustment as they have never been adjusted.

In 205k miles the two real unscheduled maintenance I’ve had to do was the purge valve solenoid and the intermiediate shaft bearing(FWD model) was worn and sounded identical to a bad strut mount.

Car has has held up amazing and is ceramic coated. Looks like it has 50k miles inside and out. Not to much wear on the driver seat and the steering wheel has perfect leather still.

I have a 2012 with a manual. The first 70 k miles no oil consumption issues whatsoever, and the car drives like a champion. Lately, oil consumption has increased a bit, trying to determine if it is a big issue or just normal aging of the engine. I have 85k miles on it now. Just got the extended warranty letter from Acura.

Year: 2012
Mileage: 87K
Engine (3.5 or 3.7): 3.7
Trans (Auto or 6MT): Auto
Oil Consumed per 3k miles: I honestly don't know, had no idea there was an issue, but religiously maintained per minder since new. However, see below...
Past or Current Engine Issues:
85K alternator ~$750
87K worn lobe and pitted rockers in cylinder 1 ~$2200
50K shuddering tranny ~Dealer tranny service, software update
80K Leaking axle seal ~$207
87K OEM battery died a while ago and was replaced with Optima for a few years, Optima just died, dealer put OEM back in ~$190

Everything else has been regular maintenance, i.e., filters, tires, brake pads, rotors resurfaced, fluids changed, air bag recall, busted fog light, and the USB doesn't work anymore for some reason....
Your worn lobe and pitted rockers may have been the result of low oil levels in the engine. A few members have reported this damage after finding out that their engine had been substantially low on oil.

I did it myself. So, it was the price of parts from rockauto.com and coolant.
