I have an issue with my 2012 TL w/ Tech Package where the lumbar support isn't working. All other portions of the driver's seat are working correctly. I have searched in this forum and other areas to see if this is a known issue. Since the power features in the drivers seat are working as expected and most likely not a fuse, are there any suggestions out there of what to check next or does it sounds like the motor for the lumbar shot craps?
This may sound odd, but try holding the reverse of the setting you want. For some reason my MDX inflates with the deflate button and vice versa with inflate now.
Thx, but no luck. There isn't any sound when attempting to adjust the lumbar support on my 2012 TL. Is there possibly a fuse specific to that motor? The driver's seat can be adjusted just fine w/o any issues. Just the lumber support is dead in the water.

Yeah, check fuse 18 under the passenger's side of the dash. That's the fuse for the lumbar support motor.
Thx. I pulled fuse 18 for the lumbar support (7.5 amp) and it looks clean. After reseating the fuse, still no noise or movement. I guess it's a lost cause at this point as it isn't worth the time or money to have someone look into it further.
The other thing you could check is make sure the ground is still attached. The grounding lug G701 is under the driver's seat (reference #12), see if there is either corrosion or a disconnected wire.
If you wanted to dive a bit deeper, you could pop out the switch from the side of the seat and see if it's bad. Luckily this is a simple circuit and doesn't involve any computer controls. Just power to a motor, a switch to control it, and a ground. Worst case would be a bad motor, and that'd involve pulling the seat covers off to get access to even test it.
