I have a 2012 Acura Tl with a headliner that has been sagging and I have already called my local Acura dealers to get a quote. The quotes have been a lot higher then I want to spend, so I’m wondering if anyone on here has done the replacement themselves and how easy or hard is it to do.
This is a simple job if you call a glass guy who will cut out the windshield, then while he is cleaning the windshield and the glass pillar from old sealant, you will swap the headliner and after that he will glue the windshield back into place. And this is not an easy job if you remove the front right door, the front passenger seat, the armrest, the central console, the glovebox, the steering wheel and remove the headliner through the passenger door opening. Like I did because I'm cheap

I swear when I read this it felt like an extra gut punch for every part you mentioned had to be removed . The one that is getting me is the steering wheel , but with your pictures I can see why. Going to tackle this myself soon but going to order a fiber optic 12v kit from Amazon and custom install a starlight setup , gonna find a donor headliner so my car is t in shambles the whole time it would take to install fiber optics though
