Hello,
So our 2011 is having a sunroof issue. We opened it this morning to the vent/tilt position. Now, when attempting to close it back down or open it up completely it will just return to the vented position? I work for BMW so I know they have an initialization process. Does the TL have a simple initialization that I can try?

I had that very same issue a about 3 weeks ago. Left it in the vent position for a while and when I tried to close it, it would close and return to the vent position. 3-4 rapid press and release of the switch to the close position, it closed and stayed shut. I then opened the roof fully and close after, no issues since then.

If it happens again I'll take it to the dealer to get checked.
