My Tl is making a noise when you steer the wheel from left to right it sounds like a spring is loose in the brakes. Does anybody know about this

 

With the windows down... are you hearing this outside the car, or inside the car? Does it sound like it's coming from behind the gauges? Is the sound like a metallic "pop"?

Is it when you are backing out of your driveway and turning into the street, about when you put in gear (or let out the clutch) moving forward.

These damn cars make so many little noises; more details are needed.

 

Is outside the car in the left front wheels around there. When you steer the left to right Quick it makes a noise in between the brakes
