Yesterday morning I start the car as I was going to work and at about two blocks away from my house the car just died. I turned on the car and it shuts off right away. I have the code as P1276 and a message that says check sh-awd and vsa system and throttle system. I took the car to the dealer still waiting. The car has 60,000 miles and still under warranty. Have any one experience this before

 

Probably battery needs replacing. At least the symptoms say so. A few threads around, search for "battery". Of course it could be a gazillion other things.

The code, P1276 ... somehow doesn't add up. Maybe its one of the codes allocated for the specific make/model but I can't find it in the shop manual either. If battery is dying probably you'll get a code telling you that somewhere there is a low voltage detected and chances are more sensors around the car have detected low voltage somewhere.

Is been a week and the car is at the dealer,they told me they are replacing the comp and waiting for it to arrive can wait to see the results
