2009 Acura Smart Key/Immobilizer Problem
2009 Acura Smart Key/Immobilizer Problem
I recently just picked up my car for the tow yard, My key fob was working perfectly fine until it was towed. The car went into anti theft mode when it was towed. I went to pick up my car and they told me my car wouldnt start. So they called their locksmith and i was told he cleared some codes and somehow he got the car started, he suggested my car battery faulty and i shouldnt turn the car off because it probably wont start. So when i got back to my city i went to and had my battery check and they said it was fine. So i went home turned my car off and then tried to start it back up and no response. The battery in the fob isnt dead because it lights up when i press any button just no response from the vehicle. Is there any way i can reprogram the key fob i have. Has anybody else had this problem before. And is there a cheap way to fix this being im strapped for cash at the moment.
They probably cleared that stored key when they was trying to get it to work. That's the transponder, you would need to get it reprogrammed at the dealership or a capable locksmith. Is the green key flashing when trying to start the car?
