15k mile service

Has anyone had this done on there car and is it worth it? Because I was quoted at a dealership 360.00 for the service.

I had the B1 service done -- but it was little more than an oil change (and oil filter change, that strangely does not seem to be part of A1). They check a list of items that should not need checking at this point.

Thankfully I received a coupon in the mail from Acura for a free A1 or B1 service -- so the whole thing was free.

No, no, no! I have 25k+ miles. So far only two oil changes and a rear diff fluid change (plus tire rotation of course). The do check a lot of other things for $360 but on a new car there should be no adjustments needed. You will know if something is out of whack.

I plan to replace my own cabin filter later.

Ouch. Sure you didn't accidentally end up at a BMW dealer.

Don't forget the rear diff fluid change on the AWD cars, I think that is part of the 15k service. Maybe someone has the service manual page they can scan in and share.
