09 TL SHAWD Mayan Bronze Clear Coat Peeling
Hey guys,
I've owned my TL for about 2 years now. Love the car! Originally purchased in Columbus, Ohio and now I've driven across country back home to Seattle, Washington. The paint was immaculate when I first got it but recently the clear coat is starting to peel off of the drive door. I'm pretty upset since I'm still paying the car off and taking it the shop to fix it and couple of bumps is a bit out of my price range at the moment.
Have any of you dealt with any paint peeling? What steps did you do to prevent it from getting worst?
I was thinking of getting some clearcoat in a can wet sanding it and giving it a layer to stop it from getting worst. at least until I can get it in the booth.

You'll probably want to put some clear coat on it and buff it out with a DA and some compound and polish until you can get it professionally done. Wait a few days then, maybe when you get the car washed, throw some wax/sealant on top of it. Good luck with it man, I cringed when I read that title. Peeling clearcoat is a real bitch.
