Rattling seems like a very common issue with the Acura TL and I'm highly disappointed. Were any of you able to solve the rattles yourself? From what I've read, receiving help from dealers isn't too hopeful. I've attempted to narrow down the rattles and I'm pretty confident it's coming from:
1. Glovebox
2. Passenger Side Windows (Only when rolled down a bit)
3. Cup holder + Cup holder cover
4. Sunroof
5. Rear speakers/sub right beneath rear window
It's ruining what would have been a good experience.

Honestly, I think any car will have rattles to some extent. honda/acura does have a bit more. Most of the rattles can easily be tuned out or even ignored. The only rattle that I had checked out for my car was the subwoofer area. the dealer inserted some foam/felt in the gap and the rattle was better.
- Check the cover on the side of the box. The cover you only can see when you open the door. Pull it off and reattach it. This solved my problem.
- The glass has too much play. Dealer has to fix it
- That's a new one
- Sunroof: dealer has to fix it. It's above the passenger as well, right? That's where I had it. The noise comes from a weld. There is a Service Bulltein out.
- Dealer has to fix it, since you might have blown your speakers. Common problem as well.
I'm convinced all cars have these little issues. I've recently ridden in BMW 5 Series and MB E series that both had their share of rattles.
I took mine in recently for the sunroof issue and something on the dash/console (couldn't isolate it) on the passenger side. My dealer seems to have taken care of both, but I'll wait for the really warm weather for the real test - both seemed worse, the warmer it got.
On your sunroof issue, try this - drive with the glass open (fully or partially) on bumpy road; if the rattle goes away, you'll need the TSB fix from the dealer that a previous poster mentioned.

I'm going to beat him to it this time.
<sarcasm> You should get a cold air intake; it's the best mod ever, and will drown out those rattles with sweet horsepower! </sarcasm>
My 09 has the glovebox and sunroof rattles. A little son-of-a-gun on the side plate cover and the lower blower cover seems to subdue them considerably.
