While online i saw this website which shows clearly the differences between the 09-11 model TL and the new 2012 TL.

The changes are pretty obvious. The 09-11 model is more sharp and angular with an overpowering front fascia. The 12' model is a lot more softer and balanced. Both are sophisticated vehicle with a raw & classy edge.

I love the side by sides also. Makes me appreciate my TL more. It does make the TL look subtle but under the hood its anything but. And it has great gas mileage.
To mod this car is a challenge because you have to go with the overall look of the car.

I am definitely glad I have a '10. Not feeling the '12 which is to tame for my taste. Hopefully they will return some of the agressiveness in the 5th Gen, or I hate to say it but Acura will probably lose me as a repeat buyer.
I liked the 09-11 myself but kinda have to settle for a '12 because of the 0.9%. After awhile the '12 does grow on you and I can see it being aggressive with a nice lip. The back actually does look very nice in person for the '12.
09-10.. so much meaner looking.. Although the 12s are still nice, I like the aggressiveness of the 09-10... Do the 12s not have the stitching in the seats or steering wheel that the 09-10s have? If not, thats a double whammy, because that contrast in the stitching sets the interior off

Yes the 09-11 do look more aggressive in comparison. But the 12 is so much better in gas. I will look when i get inside today on that double stitching.
I had an '09 AWD for which I averaged 22 MPG and now with the '12 FWD I'm at 26 MPG. Even my '05 with the smaller engine couldn't get that on my weekly commute.
Come on, who buys this class of automobile on gas mileage? You just spent 45 large to get the performance of this beast of a premium burning 3.7L and you are letting an extra mile per gallon choose your ride? lol.
The "aggressive" look is still VERY much there. It cracks me up to see people on here whine about how bland the car is now, that it looks like all the other cars..ad nauseum.
The ONLY people that can really tell the 2 models apart is us! Can we please move on? That argument has gotten very old, Acura made their decision, one that I, for one, am glad they did.
Otherwise, I would not have a 4G in my garage. yada yada yada

Partial to the sharper angles of the 09-11. The 12 looks like an RL replacement in comparison. I'm just glad they didn't sitck a bubble ass on it and a hybrid under the hood and call it "new and improved". See also, ZDX, Crosstour, CRZ.
