White TL with yellow fog lights.

What do you guys think of a "2010 Pearl White TL" with yellow fog lights? I installed yellow Xenon fog lights and replaced the blinkers right above it to a white L.E.D. I'll post some pics up. If I know how. First time posting.

I was literally about to post a similar question. I want to see some cars with yellow fogs. Whether HID or just regular yellow lights. I want to do my MBM fogs yellow and i wanted to get an idea.

MP02, when you have enough posts to throw up pics, I'd suggest using a free service like Photobucket.com to store and post your pics.

Here's what my TL looks like. I decided to buy the yellow Xenon instead of HID's. Tell me what you think? Thanks!

Oh and thanks VQ for telling me how to post an image.

@Teddybear, Yeah it's more yellow in person. Must be the camera setting it off. You can see the yellow a lot more when it's shining against the wall.

@Treblig, I just noticed that you had the 2012 model. Looks good!!

Thank you. Are they factory 35watt or 55watts? Nokyas are 55watt so they'll be brighter than stock.

I believe that they are OEM wattage. IIRC, Hoen does not recommend higher power bulbs in fog light housings. I just went with their recommendation. And I find them plenty bright.

www.hoen-usa.com

Price wise I think you will find the Nokyas a good deal, as a set of the Hoen's are $39.00 I don't know how the bulbs compare, but I can tell you that I am very happy with mine and have had them for 2 years. (I took them out of my RL before trading it in).

I appreciate you for all of your help. I'll do some reseach. A few 2nd/3rd gen TL use nokya 2500k bulbs. It's def an upgrade for 2nd gen because those fog look more like city lights.

I have a 2009 Pearl White TL and I really like the white L.E.D.'s in the blinkers (directionals). Where did you purchase the LED bulbs from? And were the bulbs difficult to install? Thanks

Can somebody confirm??

Running higher wattage can crack the lens from the increased heat (i know from experience *doh*).

55 watt is the stock wattage according to the manual and the Hoens are 55 watts.

Yes, H11, 55W is stock Watts. if go higher watts, i don't think will crack the lens, but i did see the back plastic housing melt, the socket melt, wiring burn.
So better stay with stock wattage.

Sorry to stir up this old broke thread but im still wondering the answer to the question about the max wattage that is acceptable in the 3g tl fogs. 35w stock? Can you do 55w? What is the best site to order bulbs from?
