Wall•E takes Best Animated picture in the TL!

I had to share this with you all. Me and the wife went down to the car to watch Wall•E as she didn't believe me how good the TL sounded. After moving up the seats and making a few adjustments, we watched the entire movie from the back seat, and the oscar nominated animated short "Presto", which is just brilliant and reminds me of Tex Avery's "Magical Maestro". The sub is very aggressive and had to be turned down, especially the scene where Eve takes out the oil tankers, wholly shnike it was overwhelming! The center channel didn't do very well for playing back dialogue, but as a whole it was pretty enjoyable. We also checked out Hancock for a quick minute. I did this in the old TL but it never sounded this good!

Another bonus was using the cigarette adapter to keep the MacBook Pro fully charged. I can't wait for a road trip!

looks like you watched a whole movie while the car was in ignition or accessory on ... nice... time to get a new battery!

Cars, LOL. Good one. Wall•E was applicable as the award show got boring. Yeah CRXB, I used the stereo mini pin out of the MBP to the Aux in the center console, virtually no noise during low passages, not bad. We did have Iced Tea, Raisinets, and popcorn, nice call.

The accessory ignition button was in the second position only to take a picture and share on the forum, as you can see, I had to try and illuminate the front of the car with my Dewalt lamp which is peeking out a bit in the bottom left corner of the Laptop.

Did you park at inspiration point or lovers' lane for ambiance In the tech version, is it true that it only accommodates one disc, as opposed to a 6 disc changer?

Simone Kenny. The Tech version comes with a Hardrive so you don't have to deal with CD's in the car for those favorite discs that end up as coasters once they're all scratched to hell. I still have yet to fill it up, as the iPhone gets all the music attention.

Yeah, this is true. I was a bit surprised at this at first. However between the iPod and the HDD, which would give anybody more music than they could listen to in the lifetime of the car, I think that I would rather have a single disc player. The only discs that I'm planning to carry and listen to from the player are the DVD-A discs that I'm collecting. Those six disc changer mechanisms can be a source of trouble, so one less thing to worry about with a single disc player...

Never had a problem with Acura's 6 CD changer that was in my 03 TL-S with 113K miles.

Crxb, you read my mind and spoke on my behalf. Yes, it would be a pain if you like DVD-A music, which, with the single disc set up, would require you to change DVD-A discs every time

Yes, so true! Maybe they shouldn't have changed that, I'm sort of in the middle only because I only have 3 DVD-audio discs, plus the two demo DVD's from Acura.
