Nice car and congrats on the purchase. I have actually seen the new '12 TL in person with the new OEM body kit in person. I have to say that I like the '12 front lip much more than the '09-'11's front lip. However, I am definitely not a fan of the rear lip since it does not go around and wrap the car around the dual exhaust tips. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you get the car for from Sterling McCall before taxes and fees?

Those pics do highlight how the rear portion of the lip kit looks. I will be sure and pass on the comments to the dealer since they have direct contact with Acura's accessory division.
FWIW, the rear doesn't seem to look as bas in person as those pics make it look, IMO.

They either should have had the rear wrap around the whole car or left it off completely. The way it is looks unfinished or they just glued on a couple of panels. The side view looks awesome though.

I totally was not expecting to see it missing in the rear, i was with you, the side looked great then bam! no doubt about it, that the front is an improvement. I don't like having a painted grille and no chrome.

I understand why some people are not liking the rear lip portion - it does look incomplete in a sense... but honestly, the lip kit on the 09-11s looked worse to me as the kit was too angular and looked very tacked on... on the 12, the lip doen'st go all the way around, so you see the seams....
I have an 06 RL, and while I don't have hte aspec body kit on my car, on tha tmodel, the rear lip wraps around the whole rear end and looks very complete once on the car...
i wonder why they went with this look? maybe it was cheaper to make/sell and they will move more of them? easier cheaper to install? not sure.
it does NOT look BAD to me... i think it's nit picking... if I had to pick on something, I woudl pick on the rear end.. but the acutal rear end lines..the shapes, etc.. I like.
overall... that is one sweet car. I want to go test drive one but am afraid i'd want to buy it. your color combo is also super hot.

very nice! i was a bit "ehh" on the rear apron as the rear spoiler piece for the a-spec, but now that i take a step back and look at it...not too shabby. me like! congrats on your new car! taking delivery must have been EXCITING! lol

I paid $49,500 for it before trade-in and down payment. I did add the remote start, and kits (side and under) and a few extras... yeah, a $50K TL... What RL?

i seriously doubt that white with black interior is going to be any manufactures "rare" color combo least of all a "luxury" brand like acura...white, black, and silver are the staple colors for luxury cars....

I also had 2 dealers here locally that told me something similar for that same car color/combo. While they didn't say it was "rare" they did say they didnt see any being built/allocated or in the 'pipeline' anytime soon.

They do have two other BWP/Ebony cars on the lot, but they are base models.

That is the only way you will believe me.. go for it.
BTW, maybe you are stuck on the word rare that I used.. Hard to find/hard to get is what I meant, which does make it a bit rare... certainly not on every lot

I wouldn't count on any jaw-dropping deals on these cars. As reported, they are few in number out there. Autotrader shows there are exactly 3 BWP SH-AWD Advances within 500 miles of where I live.
