I am so glad that I went with the umber interior - it has to be most European and luxurious interior color for the 4G TL!






Many photos show it to be very orangey, but in reality, it is more brown and much softer than that bright orange that you see in some photos. The contrasting combination with the black dashboard and door trim, and the metallic accents is wonderful. Love it! I wish Acura would still offer umber with Polished Metal Metallic and Grigio in the US...

BTW, the umber interior is available with the TL SH-AWD versions of many exterior colors in Canada: WDP, CBP, Grigio, PMM, RBP, and MBM. Isn't that wonderful!?

 

Oh yes, the umber interior color does look the best (IMHO) with CBP. Your car looks AMAZING! I just didn't choose CBP because having had a black car for 6+ years, I was a little burnt out with the upkeep.... LOL

Umber is by far the nicest but i just wish they used more of it throughout the car... something about it just makes it look incomplete.

 

I think its just enough. I don't think making everything umber would work in a car like the TL. For example, all-red, like in the S2000 just works. But if you made every leather surface in the TL umber.....

 

Its the gray top half that makes it look odd. If they made the top half black like the bottom half it would look much better.

i agree 100%... BMW does this too but only on select models, but i also think they offer an option to have it match the headliner/pillars... Similar to the 3G Camel.

Dont get me wrong, i love the umber color, i just wish they used more of it...

 

i like it alot...i just bought my 2010 pm/ebony...i was going to go wdp/umber, but in the end, i liked the way the front end blended with the pm...

 

Good point on the gray, I never noticed that before.

Still love the Umber, just wasn't willing to give up the manual transmission and WDP to get it
