Powder Coated Gunmetal HPT 19s

I powder coated my set of the HPT 19s. Just got them put on today and I think they turned out great. It looks alot better in person though. They couldnt powder coat the center caps because they're plastic. Let me know what you guys think, good and bad.

Future Exterior mods:
- JnC Headlights and Tail Lights
- H&R Lowering Springs
- Paint grill and rear trim black (maybe)
- BBK (maybe)

I was thinking about getting the type-s caps but they actually dont look that bad the way it is now.

They charged me $80/wheel.

I definitely like the wheels, but I agree with Vinnier6 about the center caps, hopefully the type s caps work.

Those wheels look killer. I actually like how the center caps look. Can't wait to see pics when the other mods are complete.

Blackhoused headlights and a drop will seal the deal. Looks great.

Not sure...perhaps if the entire theme was blackout, i.e. grille and remainder of the chrome. The it would have that 3-G type-S war-machine look. Just my opinion. Different in a good way though.

Looks so hot in black! Shit, I wish mine was black now. We already had a black RDX and traded a burgundy Accord for the 4G TL. I love the BRP, but my previous sedans were black w/tint. Now I have sellers remorse.

P.S. What do you think of the Mich PS A/S plus?

so how did u get these powder coated? the reason i am asking is because i want to get my wheels refinished and powdercoated in the near future but i do not have an extra set of wheels.

so i am assuming that my car will have to be stored on jack stands for a few days, and that i will have to dismount all the tires? or do the shop that u take it to dismount the tires and remount and balance after they are dont refinishing and powdercoating??

btw ur car looks nice im thinking about a similar color

wheels look good, but the contrast is off a bit between the CBP, silver beak and headlights... maybe its the photos/lighting

i bet they'd look sweet on WDP

I've only had them for 2 days now so I cant really tell, so far so good I guess. My mom has the same tires on her 2010 RRS Supercharged and I think they're great tires whenever I drive her truck. All I read was great reviews about them.

I found a shop near my area that specialize in powder coating. I stopped by their shop and took a look at their work to make sure they do a good job. Saw their work and dropped my wheels off same day.

If you dont have another set of wheels to use then I guess your car is going to be out of commission for a few days. Depending on the powder coating shop, some of them take the tire off before and mount them again after for you. I dont know about balancing. You have to double check with them about all that though.

I agree with you. My plans are to black out the beak and rear trim and get my lights done by JnC. That should help everything come together.

i say you should paint beak and trunk to match color of wheels and black out chrome around window and roof first.
black out lights last
