I like this site because, like many of you, I initially didn't like the styling of the 4G, but it's just grown on me so much, I've all but decided that this is the next car I will get.

I have even went as far as deciding colors, options, accessories (OEM and aftermarket) and everything else for when the time is right. Here's what I've narrowed it down to:

2010 WDP with umber interior with 6MT

or

2010 Mayan Bronze with umber interior with 6MT

The Mayan Bronze currently has most of my interest, because my Prelude is already White Diamond Pearl and my wife drives a Taffeta White 09' Honda Accord EX-L. So three white cars in the family might make the TL not stick out as much. Besides, the only color that comes close to the Mayan Bronze is a limited "root beer" type color that was offered on this generation of Chevy Impala's...and who ever compliments Impala owners?

So the reason I'm posting this thread is I really really really want to see some more indepth pictures of the interiors with the Umber leather. I don't care what your exterior color is (although I would love it if you showed me your Mayan Bronze with Umber) but I crave to see what a high quality picture of the interior really does look like. The ones on the Acura site don't give enough dynamic and the ones ones that I see on this site seem to be taken rather quickly and not in the best light conditions. If anyone would post their pictures, that would be fantastic! Thanks!

 

The 6MT is only coming in white/taupe, black/black, myan bronze/umber, or palladium silver/black. Doesn't make it easy for 6MT buyers, some pics would help.

 

Check to see if your local dealer has anything in stock with the umber interior and go check it out. Most Acura dealers have their inventory available online. Nothing like seeing it in person.

 

Yeah, I would, but I'm in Iraq right now. I won't be back home until May next year. My mid-tour leave is in November which would give me time to go check one out myself and possibly put a down payment on one. But I have three different areas around the country I would/should consider buying it from before anything else!

I come back for 8 days in El Paso (which is Hoy Fox Acura) then I have 30 days of leave in Ohio (which I can go to either the dealership in Columbus or Cleveland) but out of those 30 days and on, I'm going to be split between the Clarksville Tennessee area and Ft Lee Virginia. Oh the joys of deployment, starting my Captain's Career Course and having a wedding ceremony when I come back home!

If anyone still has pictures, I'd be more than grateful, becuase as far as I know, it's 7,000+ miles to my nearest acura dealership.

 

May go tonight to negotiate a black and umber combo. Will try and post pics if I get it.

but I wish they would make a red or blue leather trim like the s2000

 

My vote is for the Mayan Bronze, it will really stand out. Of the 40+ TLs on the lot when I was shopping, the MB was very noticeable. ...and Umber is the only way to go.

I have Umber interior in SoCal and have noticed that it stains easily and the stains are noticeable. I'm waiting until after the fires have been put out to clean the seats. Between the bad air and moisture on my skin, the driver's side is pretty dirty. Now that I think about it, I guess I could wear long sleeves and jeans though...

 

The only lot of TL's I saw had no umber options sitting around, but they did have a Mayan Bronze and that caught my wife and my eye. But I'd still like to see more umber interiors, anybody have some more pictures?
