Painted Brake Calipers Anyone??
Anyone has painted their brake calipers???
I am looking into painting my front and rear calipers black before the weather turns all bad in winter. Anyone know the procedure of doing a DIY such as this..( what kind of prep work..what the kind of paint, the number of layers, the need for a clear coat)??

Yeah. They turned out great. The OEM coating dulls over time.
Here is the brand used on my calipers.

all you have to do is clean the calipers then paint.
I would advise to take the caliper off so that its not hanging, and you could do a better job with the cleaning and painting.
i cleaned my calipers with brake cleaner and sand paper.
then used high temp black paint.
wait to dry.
then install caliper.
easy peazy
