yeaa....grille install fail #1. I couldn't in there from above, so I tried going in from below. I couldn't get the outer upper screw off of the shield. soi tried to remove the entire grille, but lost one of the plastic screws somewhere inside the bumper too. very aggravating, especially with my gorilla hands.

sigh. all that on top of a bad day at work...

Sorry to hear that man. The removal of the bumper isn't all that bad. That way you can do it properly. Do it on a weekend or something. There is directions online to remove it.

+1. Took me 30 min to remove my front bumper the first time when I swapped our my headlights. And if I can do it, anyone can. I think it's just a couple 10mm bolts plus a couple phillips head screws.

don't forget the connector which secures the wiring for the fogs. I effectively had to re-attach one of the top bolts to semi-secure the grill/bumper in order to pop those connectors out.

I usually leave the wiring harness clips for the fogs off, because they are just annoying when i have to take the bumper back off.

Good news, it's ON! I the hardest part was mustering the courage to start tugging on the bumper to get it off. Once it came off, it wasn't so bad.

Bad news: i undid the temperature sensor, then forgot to plug it in when i started the car. so now it's stuck at -40F. Is there any easy way to reset this without losing all of the settings? I'm thinking ECU fuse?

I would unplug the battery for ten minutes, this resets the ECU. you will lose all your settings and radio presents though.

It would be great to see the carbon silver grille on a vehicle. The paint looks great!
