Nice car and nice start with mods so far. Personally I would go with 35% or 40% tint.

Thanks Steven bell & Jspagna1!!
Jspagna1,What percent are your tints? How much did you pay for them?ive had tint guys price the work based on the car you drive. What would be a good price?
Also, does anyone know what size LEDs do the courtesy doors and trunk take? Any instructions on how to take the door and trunk bulb lense off?
I really do appreciate the responses. Hope you all had a great New Years!!

Great color!

As far as tint goes, I've had very dark on my previous cars. From 2 layers (one of which was mirror) that was less than 5%, to two cars with 5%, to my previous car which had 15%. My TL came with 35% and IMO that's not dark enough. I'm sure it keeps a lot of the heat out but I prefer a bit of privacy too. I will probably never go with 5% again but I really liked the 15%...that will be what I go with when I decide to re-do the TL.

Also, the only times in the past I've been pulled over because of my tint it was a result of having the entire windshield tinted (at 35%)...never had a problem with the dark sides (35% is the legal % in FL).

ucf_bronco,
Thanks for your suggestions! I really do appreciate it.
I got my tint done this afternoon and was kinda forced to go with the legal limit in GA of 35%. The cops are looking for any reason to hand on tickets lately, so I thought of playing it safe. I also got some really awesome high end front windshield tint that is barely visible. It does an amazing job with heat rejection. .
I'll post some pics after I install my roof spoiler which should arrive in the mail within a week or so.

Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I think you made the right choice. I have 40% on my TL as I didn't want to get hassled either. Also having tint from the factory + black interior makes the tints look darker anyway. I paid $219 for the job.

Here is a list of my most current mods:
* 35 % tint all around.
* lightly tinted (extremely great with heat rejection) front windshield.
* rear roof spoiler purchased from ebay.

Let me know what you guys think?

VtectiveTL,
Thanks a lot! No other color looks better than a black TL when clean.

Tints and roof spoiler are "spot-on".

FyahTL,
Thanks a lot!! What other mods do you guys suggest to enhance the looks?
VtectiveTL, can you take a few close ups of your car? Underbody spoilers? I'm considering a body kit.
Steven bell thanks for the compliments! I'm trying to keep the car simple but classy.
Thanks everyone and God Bless!!

Here a few pictures I took initially:
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...5#post13457285.

I plan on taking more this week after a wash. Let me know if you have any special requests. The body kit looks great. I know some don't like the rear spoilers, but I do, especially on darker colored TL's.

Those pics are sharp Vtective. I'll definitely consider it.
As far as the wheels, did you guys sell the factory ones when you purchased the aftermarket ones? I have never replaced stock wheels on any of my cars. What else would I need if I purchased after markets?
Thanks guys!!

looks very very nice. black is my favorite color by far on the 2012's. you might want to consider the aero package. with the cbp, tinted windows and rear roof spoiler, it would look amazing. i have the aero package on my 2012 AWD Advance cbp and that seems to be the best mod visually you can do. I don't think the ground effects package looks nearly as good on the other colors, but on black........................well its like Megan Fox in a black bikini. hell maybe even better.
