ive been saying for a few months now i need to paint my head lights but was kinda iffy on it. thanx for showin how sick it would be. My car is already black'd out as is

 

and ive been waiting to add another thing to do to my 4G: im already painting the grill and the trunk piece, now i can paint the headlight housing as well. Pics should be up in January.

I agree, its pretty much a must do on the 4g...I just have to wait for spring to send it to him.

 

sorry to bring up an old thread but i was curious how i can clear out the front parking lights (the ones above the fogs). is it just the plastic piece that is clear or does the bulb need to be changed too? how about the side mirror lights? thanks

 

disregard my last post apparently im more tired than i thought sitting here at work on christmas. i guess my question is what bulb is the best for that really nice bright white look that blackura has. im getting my my front bumper replaced after the holidays due to a minor accident so i want to pick up fog and turn signal bulbs that will match as close as possible to the stock HIDs. any suggestions?

 

^ LEDs of Switchbacks... I had switchbacks installed... they lit up white, and blinked orange... matched really well, but was a bit overkill with my HID Fogs right below it... so i put amber bulbs back in

Sorry for bringing up a somewhat old thread, but I am curious as to the size of the lenses? i've seen 2.5" and 3", which will fit our TLs? Since I have time on my hands, I want to do this on my own. Which size are our bulbs BTW? I'm going to change them out as well. Thanks!

^ The TSX Lenses will fit perfectly .... you may want a custom cut-off shield

The Bulbs are H8/H11 (Same bulb) for the foglight kit

The Blinkers, i believe are 1157 (Dual). And the corner bulbs are 168/194 Wedge bulb

Headlights are the D2S Bulbs

Its a fun project. Takes a whole day pretty much from start to finish.. i must have done it 20+ times on the 3G TL

 

Thanks Blackura! you changed your headlights to the Philipps right? I was thinking of going Apexcone race kit, thats what I have on my bike right now and its uber bright

I didn't notice before but on the Canadian model we have headlight washer on the SH-AWD model and in the US you don't have that feature.

Nah, I went with Kaixen 6000K in the HIDs and a Kaixen 6000K HID Fog light kit. matches perfectly
