The UA = Chassis Code...


UA4 = 99-01 3.2L TL
UA5 = 02-03 3.2L TL / TL-S
UA6 = 04-08 3.2L TL
UA7 = 07-08 3.5L TL-S
UA8 = 09+ 3.5L TL
UA9 = 09+ 3.7L TL

The codes are to distinguish to cars chasis and frame... all the cars listed above, have differences in the chasis

Yeah we have the same setup, except you have the 6000K Kaixens and I have phillips. I hope JnC gets a set to start the swap program for the 4G. It really does wonders to the front end, I cant wait to see a blacked out set on a black TL.

 

I came to 4G just to look for your car, lol.

The headlights look 500% better than stock, wow. The whole car is starting to come together but...........Sorry to say this the 100th time but can't wait to see what will happen to that grille. It will transform the car. (and please don't get that distasteful chrome one, lol).....

Like you I'm on my 2nd TL 3G and love it, I'm waiting for at least 2010 to see what mods have been done and what the TL 4G looks like totally modded

Wow, that looks fantastic. I never thought the 4G to be ugly, but now I think it looks great. My only gripe is that the front underspoiler is too thin up front.

 

^ Lip kit could have been more aggressive... but its the only option for now, and for like $900 painted... cant go wrong... the front sides (below headlights) look awesome from a side angle... overall, im very happy with the kit

the rear is actually the worse part.. its two parts, and the gaps are terrible.. even worse then the 3G Type-S gaps on the corners of the aspec... im gonna fill it with some adhesive, and use a rubber roller to flatten it out

Also, the Kaixen HID bulbs were about $90 and the Fog light kit was like $250

How much would it cost to have the lights blacked out? I have a AWD CBP and had the front and rear grills painted black to match.

i'm loving the ride. i have the non awd version same color and yours looks 10x better. i had a question about your turn signals because i want to change mine as well. do you just switch it with a white bulb or do i have to do extra?

 

Turn signals are clear lenses... so you can put whatever bulbs you want in there

I put in white LEDs (switchbacks) but then took them out... I was using the 60LED versions, and they had a defect in the circuitry... so autolumination gave me a refund

 

did you have to get resistors when you used the led?

 

Yes, otherwise they will "hyper-blink"

those blackhousings do a hell of ALOT to the front end. well done. that would be one of my first few mods. CLEANNNN!

 

Blacking out the headlight does a lot for the front end for some reason, it almost makes the grill look pretty nice

I've been disabled, out of work and lost since I lost my tl. I just woke up from another dream of driving it. I finally started getting paid from the lawsuit. I'm on another month long vacation right now and I don't know if I want to come back. I've revisited acurazine about 3 times this past year and it makes me sad all over again.

But besides all that ... I don't know what to say. Sometimes you get lost driving and it takes a long ride to get back but at least you find a new place and learn another way.

 

your 4g looks great man. i love it in white. im coming over from the tsx part of this website and im just curious as to how you cleared your headlights so theres no yellow. ive been searching the internet on how to get it done but i havent had any luck. any help would be appreciated.
