Hello all. I have been peeking in on the site for awhile but finally decided to join to share my TL with the group.
I am a long time Acura owner. Previous cars were 1995 Integra GS-R, 2004 RSX-S, 2007 MDX, and 2011 MDX. Those were all bought new and had great experiences with them. Last year decided to dip into the used car market for the first time. I wanted something with 4 doors, AWD, and 6 speed. Choices came down to TL, S4, or WRX. I thought about a 335ix but had a hard time finding one. I ended up going with a TL for the size, and my previous excellent track record with the Acuras. The WRX drove great but I couldn't get past the hood scoop as being a bit too aggressive for me.
I found a 2012 Black on black last spring with low 20's on odometer that was CPO. Drove about an hour to the dealer and bought it on the spot. I have since been using it as a daily driver and am up to around 36K on it. Absolutely great. I have made some changes to the exterior. I swapped out the stock rims for Black Konigs. I also blacked out the front and rear chrome strips. Next step will be a tint job. I think I am going to hold off on engine mods for now. If I make it any faster, it'll guarantee some tickets!!
