Congrats on staying with the acura family. your lucky to keep the rl and have a 4g tl. I love the BLk on blk combo. what do you think on the gas mileage? better?

the mods already look good. i wonder if those wheels on the tl would fit the rl, just in case you want to get rid of them when you buy the F1s.

About your tint, because the car is blk the tint with play games with you. did you go with 35% all around? so being blk on blk it will always look a bit dark then usual cars. mine plays games too having the blk on blk, but i do have 20% tint all around and with the rear sunshades up the back looks a bit like 10%. but looks great.

I see that you purchased it at Radley in my neighbor hood. who did you work with? they gave you a good deal i bet.

well cant wait to see the mods you make on her like you did with the rl.oh 1 thing where did you get the roof spoiler?

Thanks man. I do have couple more mods under my sleeve but patiencely waiting for the perfect time. As far gas goes I really haven't pay any attention but it's more quicker than the RL that's for sure. My tint is 45% for side windows and 35% for the rear, I should it kept it 45% all around but oh well. I was hesitated on going to a Virginia dealership just to avoid their crazy processing fees but my salesman work hard on the deal for 20 days until I decided to pull the trigger, one thing sure I will never go back to that dealership. I've poor customer service from the lady at finance and the title clerk, they're nice with you while you're signing papers but once you leave there lot you're worthless. I purchased my roof spoiler here

Hey Zelaya - your tl is sweet with the painted grille. How much did it cost to have painted? Its such a small piece, i should of just asked my dealer what they would charge to do it. Im always scared of dealer prices on anything.....thanks

I only paid $50.00 for paint and supplies to paint my rear trim, frint grill, top molding and emblems. I've a friend who works at a body shop. It should not cost that much if you're only painting the front grill however taking to the dealer be prepare to bleed.

I did thought on doing it but I paint them in black instead to it make stealth look.

I know I said I may get them next year but I hate the 4x4 look. Now I've to wait another 2 weeks to install them as I'm waiting for custom adapter wheels for front and rear to arrive.

Also got another set of wheels for the summer which I'm going to reveal them on my next photoshoot. Only hint I can say that they only weight 20 pounds. Also need to install the EDFC.

I actually thought the installation of the teins was rather easy. I knocked the fronts out in about an hour and a half.. I havent installed the rears yet, so they may be what is a pita.. Looking forward to pics!

^^^^ it took us about 4 hrs to the complete installation, we started doing the rear first which was the hardest part and I'm not including removing the seat.

That looks great with the blacked out grill. I wasn't sure if that'd look good on the 12's or not but it really does!

The rear seat is back on until I find a shop to install the EDFC and you need an extra hand to put the seat back. We had to use a strut compressor in order to take the old one out on the rear ones. How long did you waited to re adjust the height? I think my rear drop more after I adjust them.

When the RL needs shocks, I'll let a shop do the work, and they won't be working with Tiens.

I need moar pics of the TL since Zelaya has dropped off the radar in the RL forum.

This whole post makes me sad.

Yes I ended ordering a camber kit for the rear, the front was not necessary. Hopefully I'll get them this week to install them.

Finally I installed the EDFC today, I'm not a shame to say it took me 5 hours to install it, it was a pain in the a$$. Now waiting to re-tint my car and then take pictures.

So why do you have to re-tint? Are you going with a different %?

The prior tint shop installed wrong tint so I'm taking it to another shop to install huper optik film, it need to be lighter tint. I'm getting ESC 45 and 60 for the windshield.

Hope your new tint shop does it right. I have heard good things about huper optik tint. I kinda wish i had done 35% instead of 20%.

Okay guys after having a busy schedule I finally had the time to do a mini photoshoot today with minor changes some un plan for. The tint was re done with Huper Optik 45 all around with ceramic 60 in the windshield, the teins coils w/ EDFC finally installed which was a PITA and also installed new Conti's DWS tires 275/35/19 all around without no rubbing nor rolling fenders. The wheels as you may see got them from JNC2000 couple weeks ago which was not plan for but I pulled the trigger. As you may see this wheels are super light forged one of kind wheels which means Ron only made one set, I haven't decide on changing the color of the rim to offset with my CBP but it's growing on me. Enough with the talking and enjoy the photos.
