Yet another TL. I wanted to do some aethetic modificaitons right away.
full body kit
Window Tint.
Tail lights smoked
rear reflectors smoked.
carbon fiber vinyl on rear chrome insert.
Right now I have my 17' winter wheels on.
I have ordered the roof spoiler.

Before.

I'll post some better pics when I get the roof spoiler and right now I have to get a good car wash.

You should do the grill in the carbon fiber vinyl too. I think I would like the tinted tails a bit better if the clear part was left alone. Nice start though man!

Is that how they're badging the '13s or did you debadge a bit?

That's how they are badging 2013's now.

I may paint or cover the grill in the black carbon fiber, that's a good idea. I considered it, but I don't mind the grill. The roof spoiler should be here in a few weeks.

Also I'm going to get new fogs and DRL's when I have time.

Can you vinyl the rear trim piece without taking off the bumper? Considering trying this route before color match painting it. ?

I went to a shop and they told me before they did it that they thought they could wrap the rear trim peice without removing it. To my knowledge they were able to do that.

I thought it would be easier to wrap it in vinyl then to paint a satin finish plastic peice. Plus it is black so it looks pretty darn close.

Most drivers out there don't know that there is no Type S for the 4G.

Most people will just think 'oh that must be a fast car'. It's less ugly than the dealer issued plates.

My stock wheels are stacked up in my garage brand new. Maybe I should sell them and get something more custum.
But they have TPMS inside them still

id keep the stocks just in case, buy new TPMS.

i bought mine for $45 bucks on ebay.

it probably cost you about that much just to take off the tire to take the tpms out.

Car is coming along nicely man! I think you need to de-badge though to complete the look on the rear...just cleans it up a bit more.

What % tint do you have? Looks close to the 15% on my car...definitely darker than most on the boards.

NP. It is 3M Di-Noc Carbon scotchprint 1080 series film wrap.
It also comes in a bunch of different shades white, grey, black, brown.

Thanks for the advice. I'll look into debadging. I'm proud of the SH-AWD logo though

The tint is solar gard 15% on the rear and 28% on the front.

Here's a quick edit of what it would look like without the TL badge:

Nice ride!

Good to see another Canadian TL. Way to represent...

Btw, the SH-AWD performed beautifully in the storm we had in T.O last Friday.
