ok info has been released. I just got my car back yesterday from TEIN USA in Downey, Ca. They wanted to do research and development for springs and coils over the SHAWD TL. I gave them my car for a week and got it back with TEIN Super Street coilovers.

I will be taking some pictures later on to post them. I must say, I really didnt think that the TL SH-AWD could possible handle any better, but its soooooooo much better now. From a launch it doesnt squat anymore and feels like it takes off faster... could just be me though. Also, in the turns it carves soo much sharper without any lean or roll and its more difficult to break the tires loose on a turn. Before, I could break them loose on a wide 90 degree turn, last night it just dug into the asphalt and pulled hard.

Like I said, I will post pics later, the drop is impressive.... Here is a vid to hold you over.

LMAO!!! you should really look up the definition of ricer (at least in the sense that youre trying to use it in) IF you are suggesting that lowering your car is "rice" then why would you give props to a car that has lowering springs and suggest he has teh hottest 4g tl lol....

I got Tein Basic Coilovers on my FWD. Drop is like 2". The 4G has WAY too much gap when its stock imo. Tein Coilovers a Must have for 4G'ers. Unless you prefer the stock boring look. For someone to say coilovers makes the TL look "ricey" is just retarded.. but so is a chai iced tea

are you set on the stiffest setting?

if putting coilovers on a 4g is rice, then what about cutting and torching springs?

Looks good! Can't wait to see more pics! I did have a question though, Do you know if the lowering affected the camber of the wheels much? And if so, does Tein offer anything to fix it?

I don't think Tein offers camber arms or anything. Mike does the Tein SS have camber adjustment on the top mount? If it does then you can adjust camber back to factory settings, maddogtheta.

lol... cuting springs is legit. Im on level 10 of 16 which rides perfectly IMO. Im thinking of raising a 1/2" or so cause I scrape.

There is a change in camber for sure, but Im not sure if TEIN has any products to correct.
