Congrats and welcome-tints, roof spoiler and maybe a drop will do you good. Also consider a RonJon grill.

I feel that the body kit adds a whole new look to the TL.

I paid $375 for my tint, the aero package does not include the trunk spoiler,if you do purchase the aero kit the splash gaurds will have to come off,btw i think the taupe interior makes the Tl look more elegant while the charcoal adds to the sportiness,my first choice would have been to get the same combo you purchased but no regrets with mine either .

wtf you paid that much for tint? mines was 120 and it was with lifetime warranty against bubbling.. all windows at 17%.. 375 is really steep for tint.. unless your getting something else..

so im assuming your price of $375. is with installation. i really wanted a wdp tl with ebony interiror, but they seemed rare when i was looking. you got a point tho about the taupe, elegant. i actually thought it was a light tan, but its more of a light grey color, which i really like. yo pot, was your tint price of $120, just for the tint kit?

I am not sure what type of tint you have but the price i paid is the going rate for a ceramic tint, cheaper tints are available but it is for a dyed film which tend to fade to purple after some time, btw i have a lifetime warranty against fading, bubbling etc parts and labour included, the warranty is also transferable to another owner .I did research prices and F1 Pinnacle is not cheap besides it seems we always pay more for things in good ol Canada lol.

Yes tl3430's the cost includes installation.

got some 35% tint all around last night. it really changed the look and feel of the car, i like it!

here are some shop pics and night pics. my next mod will be painted grille/by nexson- or RJ grille.

or maybe the oem lip kit. wow tho, my dealer said $1,184.00 for the front, sides, and rear. + $400.00 for the install.

? for those with the lip kit..... should i even attempt the install myself to save the $400?

thanks B.G. , this was by far the most fun ive had working on any car. yestersday i did the front and side spoilers alone, and today my buddy Chad C. helped with the rear spoiler. he also had a dremel for cutting the rear bumper -

I just moved from Madison to Schaumburg, IL...
And yes, I'll do the kit, but tint first, and the kit in the spring.

Still running stock tires,a lot of guys here like the Continental DWS,my personal preference is the Nitto Invo's,i am waiting until spring as well, for now i am trying to get some performance parts, jpipe on order, waiting for the HFPC and intake. The aero package adds a new dimension to your car and really makes it look better .

wow great choice...i really wanted a manual too but I also wanted the ebony interior. Unfortunately they didn't have that color combo and I was too impatient to wait for a MT to show up. At this rate, you're car will be complete in no time. Looking good.

Hey tl3430,

Where did you get the 19" diamond cut wheels from and how much did you pay for them? I am going to do the same thing on my 2012 6MT and put them on in the Spring. I'm just looking for the cheapest prices right now.

Here are couple pics today of my progress thus far. Im done with mods til spring when im going to buy some summer tires to put on my new 19" diamond cut wheels. This winter i will stick with my 18" alloys and the all season michelins. The last pic was taken back in september when i took delivery. The shipping truck was huge!

I had fun installing the kit but it was a strange feeling cutting that rear bumper........ even drilling holes in the bumpers was kind of weird.

Well you have done a bangup job, thus far. Great work! Congrats...
I think you should research your suspension, or springs. Would make a HUGE visual impact.

About your grill, still thinking of having Nexson paint it? The guy does about the best paint work I've ever seen. He's got such an understanding of how paint works and what works best for what condition...he even matches the orange peel finish to factory. Pretty crazy stuff, and extremely nice guy.
