These pieces are very subtle and are about 1 1/8" wide,to me it adds some more width to the car and complements the new drop that i have with the Tein SA.

KK, your approach to modding your car by "thinking outside the box" has led you to fabricate and or implement several one of mods which makes your car look very unique. The trims under the aero package looks superb and integrates well with the overall appearance. Job well done.

Yes , I changed it and it is a little different from the others posted here, I also prefer it like this. I cut a template out of thin cardboard according to how I wanted it, after that I placed it on red vinyl tint and cut the profile. It is simple and I keep the template to make new ones whenever needed.

I saw forum member "carbonTsx" had some dampening extensions that came with his BC coilovers and thought that it is a nifty idea.I wanted to do something similar for the Tein's,decided to do the front first and will tackle the rears later. This would be really nice for the rears since we all know that taking out the rear seat is a PITA.

May eventually get the EDFC but why not try these for now,

I can't get over how clean this car is. Saw it in person and the shine and paint condition on the vehicle is actually better than out of a showroom.

That is what i aim for with any mod i do,i actually machined the knobs to match the profile of the clips on the engine cover but on a slightly larger scale.

With regards to the front splitter,it is kind of hard to get a pic probably due to my lack of photo skill lol.

Originally i made it from end to end but i didn't like it as it had a heavy appearance, looking to keep it as minimal as possible so i modded it to run from vent to vent.

I will post some new pics but you may have to enlarge it for a better view.

Hey Drew, sent you some details in a pm.Here is some more info you asked about.

I used this to mark the covers, install the engine cover over this and press down. The pointed end will transfer a mark on to the cover which you will drill through, your hex key extension will align perfectly with the dampening screw. I used some tape to keep the center punch in place as I did not want it falling in to the engine compartment.

The finished part that I made looks like this

Name: IMG_1337_zps93a364ec.jpg
Views: 489
Size: 114.9 KB
Name: IMG_1340_zps5b2089f3.jpg
Views: 530
Size: 103.3 KB.

This one I made just for the heck of it but did not use them, didn't like the looks of them in the engine compartment and decided to go the more subtle route.
