Jbonds TL........................ FACE-LIFT AND NEW INTERIOR.......... REAL CARBON FI
Hey guys
My name is justin, Im a huge Acura fan and recently sold my 06 Tl and my Honda Element to Move up to a TL SH-AWD, after driving the 4th gen you really see and feel everything the older ones were missing and how underpowered they were.
any way here are a couple pics of my old one
those pics were taken on the day it was sold
and here is the first day i got the new one
added some wheels,
dipped the grill and fog housing and rear trim eventually going to color match the surround
pedals and a little footwell accent lighting
and thats how she sits for now, sorry all pics taken with my iphone, will take real pics soon
waiting on parts for the headlights
halos, lenses ect
will update soon, hopefully hahaha
comments welcome

Dang, you wasted no time modding the 4G. Congrats on the upgrade. White is such a classy color.

Looking mean and aggressive. The headlights really set it off. Personal preference but I can do w/o the halos though. To each his own. Who and where did you do the custom side marker lense? I want mine to look like that. Love the updates. Grille is right at home w/ the 4G. Still have the OEM look which I much prefer over just paint matching the whole grille. That's the easy way out. This is creativity, especially with the brush titanium finish. Very nice job sir!

how did you wire the switchbacks? in one of the pictures they are on with the DRL/Halos and then further down they are on with the Low beams.
I am interested in changing out the amber turn signal/parking lights to switchbacks and I want them to be on all the time without the DRL while maintaining Highbeams.

not sure if that helps, the HighBeam retention will be tricky

I must be the only one that doesn't like the lights lol, reminds me of ebay lights I see on civics all the time with eventually half of the angel eye burned out, other than that car looks great.

Depends on the LED rings used. On my 09' I had a low quality ring which was split in two sections and was only powered by two LEDs, when one burnt out in under a year I had that e-smiley face grin ). My current ones has 32 high quality SMD, looks much better & brighter. I've tried taking quick pics with my iPhone but the light output is too intense. I'll see if the rebel can do any better.

You sir have an amazing ride. This is my first day as a member of this site and my first post as well. I have just become the owner of a 2010 TL SH-AWD with Tech package. I live here in Florida and have not received my new car yet. It is being shipped from Illinois. I got the white/Black like you. I must say your car is something to look up to.
Questions for you.
1. What headlights are those and did you have to fabricate in order to make them look like that?
2. In the pictures you took with nice camera and headlights on, how did you make those tabs on the front bumper stick out like that?
Again amazing car and I cannot wait till my SH-AWD comes in later this week, early next week.

hey dude thanks for the compliments.
for the headlights, i used black paint , umnitza halos and made my side markers out of black vinyl and lexan,
and as for the tabs on the bumper, I believe that you are referring to my headlight washers, in Canada I think they come stock on the tech models , but they seem to be absent in a lot of the us-spec cars, im not 100% sure so dont quote me
have a great day
