H&R Springs Installed

just installed the springs over the weekend...w/ the help of my brother and his worker, it took roughly 2 hours to install...

ride didn't change at all but took care of the nasty gap, i wasn't looking for anything too aggressive. Doesn't rub and didn't even have to roll the fenders..

next step will be painted front grill/rear and oem lip kit next season.

Looks good! H&R springs are a classy drop. I often think if I would have started with those instead of my S techs, I may never have switched to coils. What wheels are those?

Side note - I grew up in Naperville!

Perfect ride height. I've been trying my best not to mess with my factory ride height because I have a full warranty until 2017 but threads like this don't help.

H&R Sport 1.4"F & 1.3"R. - so your probably looking around 1.8F and 1.5R after it sets

^i like that! If I didn't already have almost 50k miles, I'd get these springs slapped on my oem shocks. Now, I'm most likely going for full coilovers without worrying about blown shocks soon after install.

Get some darker tints, and you're golden.

and I call BS on the 2 hours install time... Granted I didn't have 2 sets of additional hands... but the ones I did as well as every other set I've heard of were a hell of a lot longer than that... and yes I had Air tools and even tool needed except a lift...

My brother owns integrity auto repair of Chicago. Before that he worked at Sound Performance building 9 second Supras then Audi for a few years. The shop works on Bently, Prosche, Maserati and basically any high end cars in Chicago on a day to day basis... with his help and a help of his tech, yes it was done in a little over 2 hours.

The front was basically same set up as a 92-99 civic and the the only thing that probably took the longest was to unbolt all the nuts.

If it took you longer, then good for you and if you want to learn how to work on cars and be more efficient, come to Chicago we can show you a thing or two cool guy

It took almost 3 hours to install the Tein SS on my car with me and my friend. And we had to remove the top hats on the oem struts. It could of been faster if we didn't have to make 2 stops to Advance Auto to get the correct compressor tool. All in all, it was an easy install and it can be done in 2 hours time. Preparation and knowing what you're doing is key. Hondas are easy to work on. The suspension setup is almost the same for all their cars including Acura.

Who the hell is this kid? I don't mention it much but speaking of Girly Men... I did build the cute little TL for my wife to drive... It snuggles with my Lifted Truck at night in the Driveway...
