I am a meguiar's guy so here is the product list:

1) two bucket wash with Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash and Conditioner
2) Meguiar's Clay Kit
3) Meguiar's Ultimate Polish with my Meguiar's G110v2 DA Polisher
4) Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax with my DA Polisher
5) Meguiar's Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner
6) Meguiar's Endurance Tire Gel

A couple of hours later viola!

Thanks for all the props out there. I love detailing my car like this and there isn't a car that looks better than on with black paint and a good polish and wax.

Chip

Looks great. Do you detail in jeans? I'm always scared that the rough fibers will swirl the paint so I always detail in sweatpants.

Damn, you washed / dried / clayed / polished / waxed...all in two hours?!?! That's impressive, I'm usually looking at 3-4 hours in total. Of course I do all mine by hand so maybe that's why it takes longer.

Looking good! Were those the wheels that came with it? They look like post-MMC wheels.

If you have a pressure washer, soap cannon, use a air blower to dry and have a polisher the entire process goes by very quickly.

Well I didn't get all of it done on Sunday morning. I washed the car on Friday night. I only clayed the front bumper, the rest of the car was good to go and then polished and waxed the car with my meguiar's DA. They help sooo much. Oh and did the tires on Saturday.

The wheels came with the car, but I am not sure of they are 2009 wheels or not. My dealer says they are, but I don't see them on any oem site as being available for my year.

If anyone can help me out and let me know how to post pics in this thread I will move them out of my garage.

Thanks for all the kudos, I appreciate it!

Steve,

Can you send me the code for it? I tried copying/pasting yours and making the correct changes, but I get an error message saying it is over 1000 characters long, which I know it isn't.

Thanks,

Chip

PureXTC - that is what I thought. I wonder why the dealer or whoever owed the car prior to me took off the old and put these on. Maybe the ones they had were in bad shape. I really liked them when I saw the car and it was a plus for me over the 2010 white shawd tech that I was contemplating as an alternative to the one I purchased. When I look at it now I am soooo glad I got black.

As good as my car looks I probably should have done one more pass with the polish. There are still some minor scratches that I could have done a better job on I think.

My next detail will be my 2006 Honda Odyssey Touring. I have neglected her and she needs some TLC.
