Another Painted New Grille

My TL was in the body shop for a minor bump repair. They asked me if I wanted to paint my grill. I told them to go ahead and be creative. The body shop got the idea from a recent Bentley Brooklands that they repaired. I thought it was pretty cool.

Your painted grill looks nice on CBP. But, what is that inside the acura emblem ?

Looks like its painted silver to match the mesh part of the grill..... I would have left it black. I dont like the fog light housings painted black. It takes away from the style of the housing. I do like the silver mesh though.... looks good.

They asked YOU if you wanted it painted? That's cool, the paint was already mixed so it wouldn't cost them much, and you get a custom look out of the deal. Not bad. I give them an B+ or better for giving a shit about their work.

That's funny, B+...I give these guys an AAA+++ when they work on any of my cars.

I actually give the TL an over all C- as a vehicle.

I hear ya, I could have also just gotten an RL, or a C63 AMG for a commuter, but the Acura TL made the most sense. I have no need for the SH and the 18' wheels.

The salesman also asked me the same question.

The base model TL does the job just fine.

Lets do the math;

Base TL.................$33,250
BMW.....................$45,000
G-Wagon...............$70,000
GL-320..................$76,000 (including the "$16,000" in options)
Bently..................$120,000
Calling BullShit on you...Priceless!

WOW. this must be really important to you. BTW, the BMW 750Li was $97k, the G500 was $81k, the GL was $83k and the Bentley was $180k.

You can call it Bull Shit any day, that's fine, i've been called worst. LOL!

I was just going to get an Accord EX-L 4cylinder but I "splurged" on my Base TL.

have wonderful day.

Yeah I understand you Oakland. I got a couple Ferrari's, buggati veyron, couple of bentley's, and a private jet for the long distance travels. But I just bought a ford fiesta cause it works for me. I think the styling is shit but the fiesta made the most sense for me.

I think you have forgotten about the pics you took a couple months ago of the kid seats in front of the townhomes where you live. Is there room for 5cars in that 2car garage or are you keeping the Bently at your summer home in Connecticut?

That's weird. Cause looking at your otherbpictures seems that you live in a pretty small living space. Not that it's a bad thing, just that it doesn't seem right the you would own over 300,000 in cars but live in a small townhome with a 2 car garage. There's no need to lie about what you have. No ones gonna judge you.

Thanks NyAcUrATL08, All I wanted to do is share a picture, until some A-holes like Mr.Marco had to give his mother f'n opinion.

anyhow, it seems like everyone wants a pic, that's fine. I just hate being called' on. I have 5 units in this "condo complex, 4 of which are rentals, I keep one for myself to park 2 cars and for my property manager. I hate showing off, but some people here just can't let this go.

I have a lot of vehicle because i'm in the auto biz and I just love cars.

Please note that these are all in the same condo complex (sorry not in Connecticut, its in Cali. where property is twice as much).

HERE'S THE R500 WITH THE FACTORY AERO KIT ON 22" OZ WHEELS, BMW 750LI

HERE IS THE 750LI WITH THE GL320

R500 BENZ MINI VAN

BMW 750LI @ MY PRIMARY HOME, SORRY IT'S NOT IN CONNETICUT AND ITS NOT IN CONDO FACILITY.

G500 AND RANGE ROVER

S-CLASS WITH G500

R500 WITH G500

AND OF COURSE MY TL WITH THE NEW GRILLE.

Sorry folks, I will not post a picture of the GT because that it what my wife and kid rides in. For security reasons, i will not be stupid enough to do that. If you want to see a picture of a Continental GT Mulliiner, please visit your local Bentley Dealer.

I hope this helps. Mr. Marco, you can STFU now.

MurkyRiversTL, please look up. I would not lie or fantasize about life, and who really cares!? its the internet for God sakes.

And I don't really cares who judges me, Only my wife could do that.

Have a nice life. =)

Not that you had to do it Oakland, but I appreciate you posting pictures. You have no idea how many people I have seen on this forum claim shit only to be proved wrong. Looks like you proved yourself right and us disbelievers wrong.

I've actually lost track of what is, or is not, yours?? Who's Range Rover is that? If you are in the "Biz" you should know you can't BS a Gear Head about cars. Why do you live in a condo? Are these cars inventory? hOtherwise, according to you, your cars are worth more than your home. Do you rent the other 4 townhomes>?

Oh, I almost forgot, YOU DO NOT OWN A BENTLEY!
If you are in the "BIZ", you would know they are notoriously hard to buy. You need a huge amount of cash in escrow just to get the dealer to turn over the keys for a test drive.

I think this a picture gallery thread, not to call bullshit on someone for what they have or not. Who gives a damn about that. That is his own business and none of us should care about that. Just about his TL and that it looks good or bad according to everyone personal taste.

If he has those cars great for him and if he doesn't that is he's problem, not our's.

Honesty is a Categorical Imperative. Actions are ethical in and of themselves, by definition, regardless of their outcomes. Ethics are included within the act itself. Therefore, deception (for example) is always wrong.

If everyone on AZ told a lie, how useful would AZ be?
