it looks okay.. personally i would not tint things that are made to inform vehicles that i am turning.. or signaling.. just my personal opinion.. a light tint is ok, but completely black is a no no..

Maybe title the thread like this when you get to that point?

Terry-I have merged your two threads together. No need to make 2 separate threads for the same car.

Also, there is a Multi-Quote button here on AcuraZine. It's the middle icon in the lower right hand corner of each post. It allows you to respond to more than one person in a single reply. Your response will look like Post #8.

Was is tough to get it smooth?

it was actually pretty easy, i used a heat gun while doing it....the only tough part was going around the Acura emblem & getting rid of bubbles there

I like the carbon fiber wrap.
Does anyone know the durability on this?
Also wondering how this will look on a CBP....

I would not recommend it; if car is a daily driver.

This stuff does not hold up well, at all, in direct sunlight.

Look into hydro dipping options.

Agreed, loving the look on the silver... wondering what it would look like on my CBP!

As long as you use quality vinyl wrap, like 3M, you shouldn't have any issues with fading in the sunlight or peeling if applied properly. The great thing about it if it does have a problem you can just re-wrap it.

i used the 3M carbon fiber vinyl wrap, its supposedly long lasting with outdoor life 8 years...its really easy to put on, its self adhesive with bubble free air pocket release and when heated with heat gun/hair dryer it stretches and shapes perfectlyyy

To wrap, did you take the piece off first or did you apply the vinyl on it directly?
