I also noticed pre-install that my spoiler has about a 1/8" gap on each side if pressed against the roof. Are they all like this? I was assuming it would fit edge to edge snug.

Which one the BMW Seller name or the other one? The BMW guy just needs your paint code and he'll paint it... Grigio is nh736m should be on your door sticker... Put the code in the comments section of the paypal...

Did you guys install the spoiler flush with the roof or left a tiny gap between the roof and spoiler, like their is with rear window? I guess for the water to travel...

I left the gap. It just didn't look right flush against the window to me.

Same here. Left the designed water drainage channel in tact.

I've had mine on for about a month now, still on there solid. Quite convinced I couldn't take it off if I tried haha.

When applying the glue, I just applied a squiggly line of it in between the two strips of tape. Sort of like mustard on a hot dog haha.

Hope you're enjoying yours

^ that looks DOPE. Love how you used a black spoiler to match the blacked out roof, and have the black trunk lip to match as well.

Nicely done!!

I actually don't really care for the CF spoiler, most people would just think it wasn't painted prior to install. Is that a V6 model?

Looks good! Any extra noise or whistling sounds at freeway speeds? Do you think it will hold up after several carwashes?

Are people still purchasing these from the bmwoemshop seller on eBay? All of the old links in this thread led me to expired listings (obviously), but the "relisted" item on the eBay item page is also expired. Any help would be appreciated.

No whistling .. Mine has been on for a while now and it's not going anywhere! My car has never been through a car wash.

No additional noise, I have never been through a car wash but I dry my car with a blower and the spoiler doesn't even budge.

How do you live in Canada and have never been through a car wash? Do you have a winter car?

Hand wash! Why pay for a mediocre car wash when you can do it yourself and have it perfect? To add to that. You wouldn't take your lowered on coilovers car through the car wash. It won't clear the track usually and definitely not worth scuffing the rims for.

I personally detail and only hand wash my car . The Tl has never been through a car wash and yes, it is stored in the winter months. If you are wondering why I have an Awd..................well, I just wanted to.
