front or rear?

 

I hope the front, because the rear is kinda ugly on the '12 IMO.

 

I know the changes to the rear bumper, but were there any changes to the front bumper? I cant think of any?

so did you custom paint a 12' bumper because I thought their white was bellanova white pearl?

 

ill do a 2012 front bumper conversion once someone backs up into my bumper..

I believe OEM bumpers do not come painted.

Unless the bumper comes from a wreck yard, otherwise OEM bumpers (ordered from the factory) don't come painted.

couldnt disagree with you more if it wasent for the changes the '12 made i prob would not have gotten a 4g...'9-'11 bumpers i feel hold u back from certain mods. xlr8 exhaust tips look bad because of the way the bumper looks..jus sayin

 

^ I disagree with your statement....The XLR8 exhaust tips looks good and match the angles and shape of the 4G. Have it on my car now for over a year, been to many cars shows and meets and have not had 1 person said it doesn't look good on the 4G. In fact i get compliments all the time on the looks of the exhaust. Here's a pic of it on my car and it fits the bumper perfect.

 

Kelly, i think you are the first to have made the changes to the bumper. Am excited to see the pics and the fitment.

i understand why u disagree but i was goin by how the exhaust looked on blackura's tl not sure if u have seen it.If u look at his he doesnt have that housing u have around the tips if u didnt havethat it would look like it was hanging few inches from bumper.hope i didnt confuse you....

Yea - the tips pointing downward has been long fixed by XLR8 - but the rear valance is the same on both. I know FYAH was part of the 1st batch and had his tips moved up. I plan on doing the same to mine this summer.

Personal preference is just that - personal. But here is the other pick of Blackura's ride.

well i was speaking to blackura and he said that the tips pointing downwards hasent been fixed and that the only reason he didnt do what fyat did was because he knew eventually he was gonna get rid of his exhaust system.

 

also when i was speaking to blackura he said since i have an '12 i might not need to do any mods because our bumpers are diff and mine would look flush already.He sent me the link with an '12 with the exhaust and he was right it look perect

personally i wouldnt change the rear bumper out of a 09-11 but i would change the front..
