Looks sharp. I would at least consider other wheels than Vossens. They seem so played out right now. The market is saturated with high end top quality wheel companies that all have similar designs.

yea.. the lip came in all bent out of shape from shipping and no matter what we did, couldn't get it form correctly... instead of sending it back bugging ronjon... and waiting.. opted to mold it and lose the two front clips of the lip... once this bumper gets beat up, probably will sell the ronjon grille and do the 2012 conversion

I think the RJ A-bar grill is the best looking grill for the 4G, especially on the lighter colors for the 4G. The dark contrast of the inner part of the grill really makes the upper lines of the grill stand out as being flush with the upper lines of the headlight housing. It also looks the best with the OEM underbody kit.

Not sure if I like the look of it on a CBP color yet without a body kit. Maybe if the inner A-Bar part of the grill is color matched CBP, and the inner grill painted a more lighter silver.

I wish RJ would have done these for the 12+ then I would jump on a TL right now as both pieces on the front really transform the car.

Yeah, with modifications, not sure I am up to that or if I trust a body shop.

CT8132002, you're making me think about getting my RJ front lip molded on when I put it on hopefully next month.

Yea I think it looks great either way... One plus with the molded option is it looks a touch cleaner without the front tabs IMO

Thanks for the comment.. I changed the color combo on the girl 3x before setting on this one so I'm glad someone else likes it too

I'd have to agree. Molding stuff like front lips I stay away from especially if you're going low. Reason being if it hits something the molding could crack then your bumper is messed up too vs if it wasn't molded you'll just be damaging the lip.

To each his own but thats my

You definitely should have bothered RJ if your lip was damaged in shipping cause he dont give a shit once you've painted it.

CT, I've tried to clean up your thread so it reads a little better. You've got a LOT of deleted threads here.

I would suggest waiting before you post so you don't have your thread littered with deleted posts.

Also, there is a Multi-Quote button that allows you to respond to more than one person in a single reply. The Multi-Quote button is the middle icon in the lower right hand corner of each post.

circle is where a palm dent is going to be repaired. unfortunately, that's probably the best the front end will turn out... any suggestions? thanks

I don't know how you could fix it, it looks like the part is made from a crappy mold. There's nothing you can do about that. The gap on the splitter and knowing that you had to go above and beyond (molding bumper/spoiler), to make this mod work considering how expensive it already is, makes me cringe.

I like the way it looks but it's an expensive mod.

I agree. I wish for a more aggressive lip. :/

OP, can't wait to see pics of the wheels on!

I'm with ya. You like them and you'll be the only one in your area rockin' them. They are great looking wheels. Can't go wrong with a nice 5 spoke.

anytime you do aftermarket body kits... it won't fit. I had an aftermarket kit on a prior car... and while it was high quality and professionally painted/installed...there were still minor imperfections with the fit...

if you want it to fit like OEM...buyOEM stuff...otherwise you have to deal with those little gaps, things that don't line up just perfect etc...

overall, however, your car looks awesome.. yeah, you may have some ultra minor imperfectiosn with the fit of the grill - but c'mon everyone - his car looks SWEET and when the wheels go on it will look flat out HOT.

so what if the wheels are played out.. "played out" is another way of saying a lot of people have done it..and the reason they all did it is because they look GOOD. if may be "played out' on AZ...but it's not played out in the real world because for most of us = we'd never see another tricked out 4G within a 150 mile radius of where we live... the only place I see bad a$$ 4Gs is HERE on AZ...not around me..and I Live in so cal...

enjoy your wheels. enjoy your kit. it will all look phenomenal! even if someone says it is "played out".. or you are copying.. who cares... you will turn heads when you drive around your town... and one one will be thinking played out.. they will be thinking "dayum!"

The molding of the kit to the car makes the lip look little odd since the seam is more rounded than sharp edged. I've seen molded parts come out seamless, and I've seen them look chiseled where they were molded. This is like the signature of the body shop. Now I personally liked the way it looks, and I think the addition of wheels will complete the look. Even photography skills can make or break how the car is accepted on the boards.

I did notice the slight gap and unevenness on the splitter area where it meets the lip. This can be corrected with a re-installation, making sure the gaps are even left to right. Also set the splitter back a little further to close the gap, as seen in the image of the Black TL below. Did they use adhesive or bolts to attach the splitter? I'm telling you, if the splitter area is re-installed properly, it will make the whole lip alot better looking.

If the kit was damaged in transit, then I would have no problem exchanging it for an undamaged part. Once it is painted or altered, I cannot take it back.

Overall, I love the way it looks and I believe the splitter position and the wheels will complete the look. The grille looks so at home on there. Please post pics with a DLSR camera in a nice scene with the right angles to really show off the whole vehicle.

Just to support my view on what I said, here are three images of other installations:
