Small question here...

I go read some stuff on myg37.com sometimes and I came across something that interested me. It seems there's a Uprev Tuner available for the G37 and I was wondering why such a thing wasn't offered for the 4G TL...

Basically, it seems like a ECU flash or something like that...

Can someone with more knowledge offer some explanation as to why we don't have a reflash available on the aftermarket scene...

Honda's engines are way too efficient. There's not much else you can get out of them with those things.

 

^ aside from the J series V6 being MAXXED out...

Tuning on the DBW ECU for the 3G & 4G are damn near impossible. a pre-configured piggy back ECM is the best bet (similar to what CT-E/Comptech used on the 3G for supercharging)

Hondata dropped the project for christsake... and they KNOW honda ECUs better than anybody
