From what I understand if you have a FWD TL your option is the ATLP j-pipe

If you have an AWD version TL then you have 2 options to choose from

1) RV6 long tube Jpipe, does not require a test pipe or High flow Cat as the length of the jpipe will replace your stock 3rd cat. This product costs 425 dollars but there are some fitment issues with the 2012 TL due to honda using a different subframe. Richie is trying to test fit this Jpipe on a 2012 and solve the issue.

2) XLR8 Jpipe requires you to use a test pipe or HF cat. Maybe you can just use your stock 3rd cat??
This J pipe is 425 dollars and if you choose the test pipe you will have to pay an additional 150 dollars.
If you choose the high flow cat the cost will be an additional 300 dollars.

The xlr8 Jpipe has been confirmed to fit all 4th Gen TL's

I hope this clears things up.

Our j-pipe bolts up to the factory cats. We just offer an optional high flow third cat or test pipe for those who want maximum flow.

Richie.

Your website has said it's been out of stock for a while. Any update on when you guys are continuing production or selling? I've been waiting for one.

They said a whole redesign is in the works and will be ready after testing, what ever that means exactly.

I dunno how long that'll take... It seems like it's been like 4 months already.

Hm I wonder what the redesign will be, did he get into any details? If you've seen the 1st design you can tell it's very well made and has excellent durability because of the large flex pipe.

No details, just that it's a whole new design.

I emailed Rich to see what's going on. This was his reply... hopefully it'll come soon. I wanna get a taste of this J Pipe.

Hey Andrew,

Thank you for you interest. The new AWD jpipe has just been confirmed
for fitment. We are currently working on tooling for our production
run. We are hoping to have the first units read in around a month.

Regards

Rich

Interesting, don't see much to improve on the current one. 2 years and no problems so far. Can't see larger tubing since the close tolerance and probably hurt low end. Guess we will see

When I called RV6 a couple of months ago, they indicated they were making that tight bend one piece vs the multiple pieces welded. They also mentioned adjusting the piping to provide more clearance for installation. Some of the delay was due to their vendor not having the right equipment to make that bend. Hoping they will get things worked out soon.

Mine broke after having it for 2 years. There's a tab welded between the 2 pipes which broke and was causing a noisy vibration. Functionality was fine but noise was not. Yanked it off until I decide what to do. Also didn't like that I had to use the spacers.

If there is no road damage you can send it back and we can repair it for you.

Sorry for the wait guys. We want this done as badly as you guy do. This revision will have smoother free flowing bends. No more pie cuts to get the tight radius. It will also sit higher for more sub frame clearance. Best part is that there will be perfect clearance to get in a socket to tighten everything down without special tools. Hope to have it on the shelf for thanksgiving.
