Here is another video I just made right now after coming home from work. Sorry about the quality, the camera was dead so I used my iPhone 4S.
You can tell that there is definately a deeper and more aggressive sound. I still have to make a drive by video. What do you guys think?

^^^^^ Just make sure you also have some bolt cutting tools handy.
The stock bolts could sometimes be seized solid, and therefore even a whole bottle of WD or penetrating oil isn't gonna loosen them.

Just installed this on my 2012.....the hanger did not really line up well at all on my car...we put the rubber on it and then streched it to get the bolts in. I then took it for a drive and it made noise....so we broght it back in and took the rubber off the hanger completely and I took it for another drive....this time no noise....the one thing I do notice is that I do get a small vibration I can feel, but I think its new resonance that the J-pipe is giving off.....I hope this will go away after putting some miles on it.

Definitely won't be 5 minutes. Looks really easy til you get under the car and the bolts wont come loose and prying gaskets loose. I remember I had to cut a extra piece of metal off by the J-pipe in order for it to fit my ATLP J-pipe(not sure if AWD has the same thing). And WD40 won't be any good if they are seized. I would suggest use Liquid Wrench penetrating oil.

I installed it earlier today, took me a little over an hour but it was easy to remove with a impact wrench. I put back the original hardware except where the jpipe meets the catback.
Here are my impressions of the long jpipe in conjunction with my XLR8 catback I've had for a few months:
1) Outside the car the exhaust note is louder and does sound exotic.
2) Inside the cabin it sounds about the same till you're at 6k+ RPM.
3) performance wise I was initially unsure if there was any significant gain (something I could feel) and not just thinking in faster because it's louder. Well it's SIGNIFICANTLY faster my wife best discribed how the car accelerates now, "it's like the car can really breath now and doesn't struggle to accelerate", "I can feel its much faster now". after she mentioned those things I put the car in "S", got into gear (2nd), mashed the gas and tried to see how fast I'd get to 100+; it ate up the RPM like I've never seen before, it's like I was instantly at 6k.
I dont have many performance mods, but can whole heartily say if you can only buy one get the long j pipe.
I didn't have any problems with installation like nick mentioned, it was a perfect fit.

HeartTLs....glad to hear your not having any issues with your J-pipe.....just remember guys, I have 2012 TL, and I think there are some very minor differences....I am having a few issues with the J-pipe, but I am hoping to get them all worked out. I am just wondering....has anyone else here put one on a 2012??

I installed my j pipe this past friday.
-As far as the exhaust note there is a noticeable difference. The car is quite a bit louder and maybe slightly deeper in tone. Before the pipe you couldnt here anything at idle now you can actually tell the car is on. Didnt hear much of a difference while driving unless i put the window down. There was no rattling, buzzing, or any other unwanted noises.
-Performance wise you do notice a difference. The car is faster and HeartTLs is pretty spot on with his description.
Well worth the money. Couldnt be happier with it. Thanks Richie.

I think I am the only one who has installed it on a 2012....the hanger did not line up at all and we really had to stretch the rubber to get it on....the first time I drove the car it made noise like it was hitting something.....we took the rubber off the hanger and it was more quiet but it still sounds like its hitting something. My quess is the 2012 exhaust is slightly different and the car he used to design this on was a 2010.

Carlos... Did you reset your ECU?
Some people think its an old wives tale, but i truly believe it makes a huge difference...
ANY time i install an upgrade mod, i pull the battery for at least 15 minutes (or longer, while i am doing the install)
reconnect it, and then take it for a spin.. during that drive, you should drive aggresively, to allow the computer to adjust to the different air/fuel parameters.
of course, a true engineer can chime in, and say its pointless... but i still believe
