what is supposed to make more power? assuming you only did one mod:
J-pipe
High flow pre cats
Pre-cat delete pipes
If you run PCD and J-pipe - would you essentially have NO catalytic converters on the car? or is there still a cat somewhere in the system that is retained?
i'm curious if anyone has done PCD + Jpipe... and has observations as to performance and sound - using stock cat back exhaust...
if/when I ever get around to doing exhaust - I want the car to be *slightly* louder... just loud enough so it sounds deeper than stock..but I don't want to sond like the neighborhood rice burner ... i think stock exhasut is fine..a tad louder would be good...
the aftermarket cat backs sound too loud for my taste.
if the sound is going to be hardly affected... then it makes no sense to do these mods unless there is real power / throttle response /etc to be gained.
i also live in CA..so I have smog to deal with.. i'm guessing a PCD woudl be a big no no in CA... or at least it would be something one would have to swap in/out at smog time..and I'm not sure how much of a PITA installs of eithe rof these parts are. even a jpipe might be illegal here in Commie-fornia....
anyone care to chime in?

Drifting
I will chime in based on my experience, I have the HFPC, and the Rv6 j pipe. Personally i love the tone of the stock exhaust with these parts, I say that because I had the CT Engineering axle back and took it off after using the combo I mentioned.
At present the tone is quiet during normal driving with no drone or rasp but sounds very good on acceleration, IMO the added growl from the Sri adds to the overall sound, in terms of performance I would say there is some improvement but nothing that will wow you.
PCD will fail emission and most likely cause CEL, the car will be louder and will smell like raw gas.
