Question Mods for the 4G

Just got my 10' TL last month. Im a to this site. So far ive bought the RJ grille, Takeda Intake, Progress Sway Bar, and Tein Basic Coilover Kit. Ideas on any other Mods would be appreciated. Not too sure what else is out there for the 4G's thus far. What you other 4Gers do so far?? ?

  1. UR lightweight pulley
  2. XlR8 High flow cat or test pipe
Not sure there is anything proven on the TB spacer, but it may be an option

^ TB spacer is always good for low end torque... cant recall the exact science behind it, but something about increasing the air flow distance by adding a spacer, helps low end

Not sure if anybody (probably CleanCL knows) if the Factory MDX IM Spacer will fit, and/or if it will help on the 4G

New Exhaust Components would be niceee. Went and checked out JnC's work and his lights look sick. Feelin the Cleared Blacked out look. Just gotta figure how to get around while he's hookin it up for me. Ur car is the nicest 4G ive seen so far Blackura. Harrows match the 4G perfect. Hope RJ does a aero kit soon.

Guess for now i'll get a UR Pulley and wait for more Mod's to come out. Postin pics as soon as trial period is done! Hope to have the cleanest 4G in Hawaii. Everyone here went for the G37 so I wana show them what there missin out on!!

Josh @ Excelerate has the parts, and at a great price.

Thanks... DIY on the headlights isnt too complicated. just takes precision and patience

Exhaust stuff will be out soon.... and when the time comes, there will probably be plenty of options

Excelerate, ATLP & CT-E (comptech)...

That would be crazy. When they made a SC for the 04-07 TL it added like 65 HP!!

Adds an additional 60-65 wheel horsepower
Powered by a Eaton-type blower unit for smooth power delivery
Includes: Blower unit, Intake system, ACM Unit, Battery Tray, Billet Battery Tie Down, All Brackets, New Belt, and All Related Hardware

Id be cool with just a CAI and a new Exhaust System from them.

Acura TL: Header and Exhaust

CT Engineering headers and exhaust systems are manufactured using CNC machined flanges and mandrel bent T-304 stainless steel tubing. All headers have precision fit merge collectors and all joints are TIG welded for durability and appearance. All mufflers are polished stainless steel with a polished stainless steel resonated tip and have been tuned to give a deep aggressive exhaust note, without being too loud.

There aren't always performance gains, it all depends on the original TB and plenum designs. Several of my previous cars had measurable gains with T/B and plenum spacers, but others had nothing. I haven't seen any dyno charts on the 4G with a T/B yet.
