You forgot to include Optima.

But, I'd stick with the OEM battery.

Nothing... Some people are trying to lighten up the 4G, since its quite heavy. By replacing the stock battery with one of these lighter versions you get the same results with less weight.

The same thing can be accomplished by eating less and exercising. Lol

I don't know if my comments are worth anything here, but I think instead of cutting down on weight in the front of the car, you should be concerned about moving the weight to a different location. May I humbly suggest finding a place to put the battery in the trunk. I believe the TL FWD has a weight distribution of 55/45 (SH-AWD has 54/46). This is pretty good for a Honda (my prelude is 63/37) and would be better improved moving that 40lb weight off the nose of the car and putting it in the ass end. I know I did it on my prelude and it made a world of difference. The car has no noticable problems starting up or keeping powered up (because I used 1 gauge welders cable) but it sure did show a rapid change in handling. The front end felt lighter, the rear end gave a little bit more oversteer (something uncommon in FWD cars) and I think that anyone looking for that little bit of performance should try less on cutting out 20 to 30 lbs and instead, start trying to redistribute the weight.

This is just my

I used a Braille. The 3G guys are using them for a couple years with no problems. The one I got has the same CCA as stock.

Is the Braille battery like an optima, with contained cells (dry or gel) that need no maintenance, or are they a traditional wet-cell?

This is from Braille's website:

"No Spill, No Corrosion, No Maintenance
Technically registered as a "sealed valve regulated" design, this patented technology completely eliminates acid spills and corrosion on terminals. This design is environmentally safe does not need filling and maintenance. Air shipping approved."
