Deep Throaty Exhaust
Hello Friends! I'm new here and this is my first thread!
I currently have an Acura TL 2009, SH-AWD and was looking to upgrade the exhaust so it could sound beefy and deep. I'm trying to avoid the ricey sound, and am wanting to lean towards the Jaguar F type base. Any tips? what muffler should I install? Thank you for all the help guys!

I'd rather have a Deep Throaty Intake:

I'm a fan of my XLR8 catback + XLR8 V2 J-pipe sound, and have gotten nothing but compliments since I had it installed. I even get some of those "pop-pops" on downshifting or coming directly off throttle.

Sounds great. I have RV6 HFPC's, XLR8 Jpipe and magnaflow mufflers and I'm quite happy with the sound. Not as pronounced as Riboflavins but good enough for me. It's especially nice at idle. I might consider straight piping the resonator but it's not in my immediate plans.

It's not a beginners job, but if you're mechanically inclined at all, you could probably do most of it just fine with help from YouTube. The HFPC's and PCD's can be a pain. There's a few things that have to be removed (radiator fans, O2 sensors, heat shields) in order to do it. Not to mention some tight spaces, especially for the one on the rear cylinder bank. But the J-pipe isn't too bad. I haven't done a cat-back on my 4G, just magnaflows (which was done by a shop due to cutting and welding) but it was relatively easy when I did it on my 3G. Just bolting stuff on and attaching the hangers to the rubber supports.
